A volunteering management platform for a GIZ programme, supporting registration, assignment workflows and administrative reporting.
Employer-owned system. The source is not public.
Overview
Built for a GIZ-run programme, this platform manages the full volunteering lifecycle: registration, matching volunteers to assignments, and the administrative reporting a donor-funded programme needs to demonstrate its own reach.
Architecture
A Laravel application using Eloquent against MySQL, served from Apache, with JavaScript handling the interactive parts of the admin and volunteer-facing screens.
Engineering
Implemented the registration and assignment workflows end to end, plus the administrative reporting views programme staff use to track participation and outcomes.
